With KNS design collective: WAX MOUNTAIN invites the user to interact, sense time through material build-up, and pay special attention to what is and what could be as they play with fire. This set creates a light bouquet when the aluminum sticks are pressd into the wax bed and the candles are lit. Over time as the candles burn down, a landscape of wax forms beneath, providing a contrast to things ultra controlled
and predictable.The line between control and functionality is redrawn with this candle set.Taking inspiration from birthday candles, torches and traditional candelabras, WAX MOUNTAIN uses aluminum as the main material source.
