Spooning Cups 2008
Male + Female cups: In response to the collaborative project between Parsons, St. Etienne, and Konstfak for Houses on the Black River (in which visiting designers are housed in the sustainable design housing project) I created two cups, in a set of four, that fit together when placed on a shelf (one is the inverse of the other). This makes the cups modular, which can fit better into small spaces, or places that dont have the luxury of shelf space. My inspirations for this project were the clean lines of minimalist/modern design. The most important aspect of this project explores the way the user holds the cup. My cups can be held in two ways, depending on the preference of the user.These cups were featured in the 2006 ICFF.
